This a preliminary view of the Caisson (dry-dock gate) redrawn courtesy of A.M. Grant Engineering Consultants Limited (January 1999) based on measurements taken during the marine survey by Jonathan A. Watson Marine Surveys Inc. This new drawing was produced to assist in determining the list of materials that will be needed for repair purposes. We are grateful for the assistance rendered by these two firms. The caisson was dry-docked and repaired at the Metalcraft Marine Shipyard during the summer of 1999. In December the caisson was put into use once again for a dewatering of the Kingston Dry-dock.
